BMW E30, 1987 Black 318i Baur Cabriolet, owned by me since 1993 (2 previous owners). 5 speed, 250,000+ kms. I'm moving overseas in September and have reluctantly decided to sell my dear friend. The car needs someone with passion and a few $'s to bring it back to its physical best. Mechanically, it's fantastic and continues to purr like a kitten, but the body has some (not much) rust along the bottom and the paint has started to split on the boot. The cloth interior needs replacing in the back seat. I put a $2,500 stereo in it 8 years ago and I'm yet to hear a better one, especially when the roof is down (most of the time up here on the Sunshine Coast). All in all, I'd love to know that someone would pour some love into the car, but if they don't want to just yet, they'll have enormous fun driving it the way it is.
