From now on, committee members will no longer be eligible to score points
towards "The Most Supportive Member" trophy. This trophy, presented at the Gala
Presentation Dinner each July, is now to be awarded to the general member who
scores the most points during the year. Also, the 3 highest point scorers will

PRESIDENT'S DINNER |

This dinner, formerly known as 'The Points-Scorer's Dinner' and held each
September, is now open for all members to attend. General Members and Additional

their dinner paid for by the club, as will the Committee Members. New members
(those who join throughout the year) will be eligible to have their dinner paid
for via a pro-rata system. The threshold points score will be announced when it
is determined.

The club has purchased a card printer to so that we can replace our current
laminated membership cards with high quality credit card style cards. Club
members will get this new card when they next renew their memberships. General
club members will get a generic card design, while committee members will get a
card with their committee position on it, and a personalised choice of photo.
This style of card will be available to general members at an additional cost.
The purchase of this machine was enabled due to kind sponsorships by The Racing

The Bimmer magazine will be returning to printed format. From many
discussions over the last six months, we have come to the conclusion that this
will benefit the club and it's image to a greater extent. The magazine will be
mailed to all members, and it will also be available in PDF format on the Club
website,

|
At the AGM in April 2007, a resolution was passed to raise the Membership
Fees by $5.00, but we have not yet implemented the rise. As the cost of printing
and mailing "The Bimmer" is significant, we have decided to implement the
increase from November 2007 onwards to help offset this cost. Therefore, from
November 2007 on, new members will pay $85, and renewals will be $60 per year.
Additional Card-Holders fees will remain at $5.00.
